Luke Combs is an American country music singer and songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina. Combs has performed as a singer since he was a young child, growing up to sing with multiple vocal groups throughout high school and even landing a solo during a performance at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall. He continued to perform country music during his time at Appalachian State University. In his fourth year with less than a month left to finish his degree, Combs dropped out and moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a full-time career in country music.
Combs' first and only record released to date, This One's for You, dropped in June 2017 and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart within its first week. The album has produced three hit singles, all of which have charted on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay. Combs was named one of Sounds Like Nashville's “Artists to Watch.”
